Solo Diver

Course Schedule
One classroom session (approximately 3.5 hours)
Two open water dives (to be completed on any regularly scheduled trip)
Class can be scheduled anytime (call for details)

Prerequisites
Certified Advanced diver with at least 100 logged dives
At least 21 years of age
Provide own equipment and transportation
Desire to have fun and learn more about diving

Special Features
Orientation to self-evaluation and self-regulation
Orientation to safe solo diving practices

Course Investment
Only $$$. This fee includes tuition, handouts and certification for those fulfilling the requirements. Full payment is due at sign-up. There are additional fees for the trip, but these will be provided at very reasonable rates.

Student Responsibilities
Purchase the Solo Diver Manual
Answer the Knowledge Quest Questions
Provide all of the necessary equipment (i.e. redundant air system)
Attend one classroom sessions and understand the material
Read any supplemental material and answer any supplemental questions
Pay for and attend one scheduled dive trip to complete two certification solo dives
Monitor air (500 psi min.), Depth (60’ max.), time (varies)
Utilize a computer or the dive tables to prepare for each dive
Log all dives and request an Instructor signature
Be prompt and prepared to dive (mentally and physically)
Meet with Instructor after each dive for a debriefing
