Master Diver

Course Schedule
Three classroom sessions (approximately 3.5 hours each)
Eight open water dives to be completed on almost any trip weekend
Written test taken to be scheduled.

Prerequisites
Certified diver with at least ten logged dives
At least 15 years of age
Provide own equipment and transportation
Desire to have fun and learn more about diving

Special Features
Charter boat dives and beach dives
Orientation to deep diving
Orientation to advanced navigation
Orientation to search and recovery
Orientation to night diving
Orientation to diving rescue techniques

Course Fees
Only $395. This fee includes tuition, handouts, access to the online reading, and certification for those fulfilling the requirements. Full payment is due at registration. There are additional fees for the diving manual and trip, but these will be provided at very reasonable rates.

Student Responsibilities
Read and understand the Diver textbook
Attend three classroom sessions and understand the material
Read the supplemental material and answer the questions online
Study and understand the medical vocabulary
Schedule and pass the Master Scuba Diver exam (100 ???)
Attend one or more scheduled dive trips
Provide your own scuba equipment
Monitor air (500 psi min.), Depth (130’ max.), time (varies)
Utilize the dive tables to prepare for each dive and to calculate the end of the dive letter group for each dive
Log all dives and request an Instructor signature
Be prompt and prepared to dive (mentally and physically)
Meet with Instructor after each dive for a debriefing
