Six (6) classroom sessions (approximately 4 hours each), Three (3) pool sessions, Two open water outings (four 4 dives total), all to be scheduled.

At least 18 years old
Certified for at least six (6) months
Have current medical examination for diving
SDI Divemaster or Assistant Instructor or .Equivalent
Current First Aid/CPR (2-person Adult)
At least 100 logged open water dives in various environments
Have SDI Leadership manual
Desire to have fun while learning how to teach people how to dive

Orientation to SDI Standards and Procedures, legal responsibilities and risk management
Methods of instruction and proper communication techniques
Budgeting a scuba course and successfully selling scuba
Physics and Physiology of diving, diving environment, equipment, and dive tables

CALL $$$$. Fee includes tuition and Instructor registration with SDI/TDI, all classroom, pool, and open water sessions for the IDC, as well as any supplemental materials.

Attend all classroom, pool, and open water sessions.
Read and understand all text and any supplemental material
Prepare and present five (5) class presentations, five (5) pool presentations, and four (4) open water presentations
Complete a full rescue of an unconscious diver
Provide all of the necessary equipment (in good working order)
Provide food and transportation to all sessions
Provide SDI/TDI Standards and Procedures Manual (and online class)
Attend an IEC within six (6) months of completing the IDC
Log all dives and request an Instructor signature and dive debriefing
Be prompt and prepared to dive (mentally and physically)
