Two (2) classroom sessions (approximately 4 hours each), One (1) pool session, Four (4) open water dives, all to be scheduled.

of recreational scuba diving to Emergency Response Diving
Team organization, Operations, and Training Suggestions
NFPA and OSHA requirements
and meeting those requirements
Public Safety Dive Equipment, Problem Solving, and Responding to a Call
Search Patterns, Crime Scene Recognition, and Environmental Haz/Mat

Call for $$$. Fee includes tuition and ERD Manual, all classroom, pool, and open water fees, as well as any supplemental materials.
Candidate's Responsibilities
Attend all classroom, pool, and open
water sessions.
Read and understand ERD Manual and any supplemental material
Be physically fit and prepared to pass the ERD watermanship
skills
Provide all of the appropriate equipment (in good working order)
Complete the prerequisite number of dives as a ERDiver
Complete
a full rescue of a tethered diver as a backup safety diver
Tender two complete dive operations
Pass the ERD I Written Exam with 80%
accuracy
Provide food and transportation to all sessions
Log all dives and request an Instructor signature and dive debriefing
Be prompt and prepared to dive (both mentally and physically)
Additional Classes Offered
SDI CPROX 1st with AED: This class certifies students in First Aid, CPR, Oxygen Administration and the use of an AED.
Emergency Response Diver II (ERDII): The next step in ERD training, this class includes the use of FFM and a dry suit as requisites. Students will advance their knowledge of public safety diving and improve their skill level.
ERD Dry Suit Ops: This specialty Op class teaches the basics of dry suit use and its application towards public safety diving.
ERD Full Face Mask Ops: This specialty Op class teaches the basics of full face mask us and its application towards public safety diving.
ERD Night Ops: This specialty Op class teaches the basics of night diving operations and its application towards public safety diving.
ERD Small Boat Ops: This specialty Op class teaches the basics of diving operations using a small boat and its application towards public safety diving.
ERD Swift Water Ops: This specialty Op class teaches the basics of swift water rescue and self rescue in rapid water from the awareness to technical levels of operation.
ERD Supervisor: Learn the details of mission and training supervision, as well as being able to assist instructors in training. This is a Divemaster level course and you must be ERDI and ERDII certified.
